We are amazing on supplies! 

Here’s a recent e-mail I received:
Hey there!  There are a number of really cool things that have happened in the last few days that I wanted to share with you.  A friend of mine, Randy, was able to get donations from Rapid Transit (a shoe store here in State College), so we’re now looking at approx. 30 to 60 brand new pairs of sneakers that will be donated, amazing!  They are all women’s sneakers that have been discontinued, but honestly, they’ll be a great fit for any of the kiddos there and will hopefully last longer than sandals. 

One of the things that Jean Paul had said they needed was paper, pens, pencils (basic school supplies), and I think that we brought it up at the meeting as something that we can maybe all provide for the school and the boys.  However, you don’t need to worry about purchasing any supplies because I bought a ton today.  I purchased 110 notebooks, markers, crayons, colored pencils, glue sticks, loose leaf paper, pens, pencils, sharpeners, and plastic containers to hold all the supplies…so we’re all good on supplies!  So we’re looking to send down the school supplies, shoes, more books, a keyboard, and a few toys.
